We are giving notice that the
Secretary of Veterans Affairs intends to
reestablish the Department of Veterans
Affairs Voluntary Service National
Advisory Committee for a 2-year period.
The Secretary has determined that the
Committee is necessary and in the
public interest.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Pursuant
to the Federal Advisory Committee
ACT, notice is hereby given that the
Secretary of Veterans Affairs intends to
reestablish the Department of Veterans
Affairs Voluntary Service National
Advisory Committee for 2 years from
the filing date of the charter’s
reestablishment.
The Committee advises the Secretary
on the coordination and promotion of
volunteer activities and strategic
partnership within VA health care
facilities, in the community, and on
other matters related to volunteerism
and charitable giving. The Committee
serves in an advisory capacity by
making recommendations to the
Secretary for the improvement of
voluntary services to Veteran-patients
by means of coordination on a national
level of the established plans and
policies for community volunteer
participation.

Administration, Department of Veterans
Affairs (VA), is announcing an
opportunity for public comment on the
proposed collection of certain
information by the agency. Under the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of
1995, Federal agencies are required to
publish notice in the Federal Register
concerning each proposed collection of
information, including each proposed
extension of a currently approved
collection, and allow 60 days for public
comment in response to the notice.
DATES: Written comments and
recommendations on the proposed
collection of information should be
received on or before April 22, 2019.

for the proper performance of VBA’s
functions, including whether the

information; (3) ways to enhance the
quality, utility, and clarity of the
information to be collected; and (4)
ways to minimize the burden of the
collection of information on
respondents, including through the use
of automated collection techniques or
the use of other forms of information
technology.

hours.
