Introduction:
The Annual Arts Basic Survey (AABS) questionnaires are provided below. They will be conducted on
a rotating basis, in alternating years in 2013 through 2018, with the exception of 2017, when the
Survey for Public Participation (SPPA) was administered. The questions on arts creation and
performance will be fielded in the even-year (February 2018), and questions on arts attendance and
arts learning will be fielded in the odd-year (February 2015).
