HRSA proposes to collect information
in that describes the qualifications of proposed researchers and
the description of research participants. This is an important
component of ensuring demographic diversity (race, ethnicity, and
gender) among research study participants. This allows MCHB to
determine to what extent individuals of different backgrounds are
participating. Likely respondents are potential applicants to
HRSA’s MCHB research and training programs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
