SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: As
required by the Paperwork Reduction
Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 104–13, 44 U.S.C.
chapter 35) as amended by the ClingerCohen Act (Pub. L. 104–106), OPM is
soliciting comments for this collection
(OMB No. 3206–0034). The Office of
Management and Budget is particularly
interested in comments that:
1. Evaluate whether the proposed
collection of information is necessary
for the proper performance of functions
of the agency, including whether the
information will have practical utility;
2. Evaluate the accuracy of the
agency’s estimate of the burden of the
proposed collection of information,

including the validity of the
methodology and assumptions used;
3. Enhance the quality, utility, and

electronic, mechanical, or other
technological collection techniques or
other forms of information technology,
e.g., permitting electronic submissions
of responses.
Form RI 30–2 is used annually to
determine if disability retirees under age
60 have earned income which will
result in the termination of their annuity
benefits under title 5, U.S.C. Sections
8337 and 8455. It also specifies the
conditions to be met and the
documentation required for a person to
request reinstatement.

Form RI 76–10 allows an insured
individual to transfer ownership, or
‘‘assign’’ the FEGLI coverage, to a third
party. An insured may assign for several
reasons; for example, for financial
planning purposes, or to comply with a
court order, or to sell the coverage to a
third-party. Unlike a designation of
beneficiary, once an assignment is
executed, it is irrevocable.
