NOTICE OF CHANGE:
NEW COMPANY CONTACT FOR MANDATORY CENSUS BUREAU SURVEY(S)
The Census Bureau is modifying our communicaon with you and your company for one or more of the
2019 annual surveys, which will be mailed in early 2020. Please read this notice carefully.
Why is the Census Bureau making this change?
In previous years, the Census Bureau requested your company’s parcipaon in mulple economic surveys
and sent separate communications regarding each one. In order to make effective use of taxpayer dollars
and improve our operational efficiency, we are beginning to streamline our communications. This is a first
step towards reducing burden and eliminating redundancies for companies like yours. Starting with the 2019
Annual Retail Trade Survey, 2019 Annual Wholesale Trade Survey, and 2019 Annual Services Report, we will
no longer notify different points of contact at your company for each of these surveys.
Moving forward, the Census Bureau has idenfied the following person to be our main point of contact
regarding the surveys listed below. If you have any questions or prefer a different main point of contact,
please call us at the number provided at the end of this notice.
