Formative Evaluation of an Immersive VRMine Rescue Contest Simulation Exercise In-person Recruitment Script

As you’re preparing to participate in the VRMine simulation exercise brought to you by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), we’d like to ask for your voluntary participation in an evaluation activity. Specifically, we’d like to ask you some questions about your background and experience in mine rescue and for you to share your reactions to the VR exercise.

Your name will not be recorded, and every effort will be made to keep your identity secure. While you may find the experience rewarding, there will be no monetary compensation for participating. The information you share will be considered as we work to improve this technology.
