Narrative of Changes from the Paper Collection to the Electronic Collection:
New information collected:
• For attorneys: EOIR ID, bar number, and bar jurisdiction
• For non-profits: representative info to include type (attorney or fully accredited rep),
name (salutation, first, middle, last), EOIR ID, bar number, and bar jurisdiction (as
applicable to attorney, but this information will auto-populates from eRegistry if the
attorney is already registered with EOIR to avoid any duplication);
• Username and Password;
• Designation of type of phone number (i.e.: direct line, Spanish line, mobile, etc.);
• For private attorneys, we have expanded the Name field to specify salutation, first,
middle, and last names. Only the first and last name fields are mandatory.
• Acknowledgement that the applicant has “read and understood these eligibility
requirements.”
