DoDEA has completed the review of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Aid for Children with Severe Disabilities applications, as established in Section 363 of the Floyd D. Spence National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2001, P.L. 106-398 (codified at 20 U.S.C. 7703a).

The amount of funds appropriated for this program was not sufficient to pay the full amount that all local educational agencies are eligible to receive; actual payments have been ratably reduced as required by law.
