APHIS modified VS Form 12-10 and the NAHRS information system interface to offer COVID-19-specific reporting lines rather than having reporters utilize the existing ‘other’ lines to type out any positive Covid-19 cases. The changes are required to comply with World Organization of Animal Health (OIE) reporting requirements for COVID-19/SARS CO-V 2 detections in animals. The current estimated response time for the form is 8 hours and the burden adjustment, while saving a few seconds of time, is negligible.
