Supplemental Document: Justification for a no material/non-substantive change
ATF requests approval to make the following change to ATF Form 7(5310.12)/7CR(5310.16),
collection 1140-0018:
For question #2 we would like to change “Applicant” Name to “Licensee” Name. By changing just
this one word there will be less confusion as to what name should go in this field. Often applicants
will put their own name here instead of the name of their corporation, which is the name that we really
need to capture. This is our only proposed change- an effort to clarify what we’ve always asked for.
We are not asking for any new/additional information.
