The National Household Travel Survey is conducted every 5-7 years to help us
understand the transportation needs in communities across the country.
About a week ago, we sent you a letter asking for your help with this important survey. If
you have already responded, thank you! If not, there’s still time. Sharing your travel
experiences will help shape the direction of future transportation improvements.
To get started, please complete and mail back the brief survey from the package
that we sent you last week. We will then ask your household to record their travel for a
single day. No matter how much or how little you travel, your experiences are important.
