This information collection permits
DOL to meet its statutory responsibilities for program
administration, management, and oversight under the Immigration and
Naturalization Act. The Form ETA 750, part A and part B collects
information needed for the professional athlete permanent labor
certification program. The Form ETA 750 Part B is required by the
DHS for aliens applying for the National Interest Waiver (NIW) of
the job offer requirement. Part B provides detailed information
about an alien's education and work history as required and
explained in 8 CFR § 204.5(k)(4)(ii).
Although the time to complete
Form ETA-750, parts A and B, remained the same, the annual burden
for these information collection tools increased from 12,103 annual
burden hours, as it was last reported in December 2017 (date of
previous ICR approval) to 17,446.88 annual burden hours; an
increase of 5,343.88 annual burden hours over ETA’s previous
estimate. The increase can be attributed to a steady increase of
Form ETA-750, part B applications submitted to DHS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
