Contractor: I’m a contractor helping NOAA Fisheries conduct a survey of vessel owners who participated in a West Coast coastal pelagic species fishery in either 2014 or 2019. Our goal is to collect economic information that will enable fisheries managers and the public to more fully consider the economic effects of proposed and existing regulations for this important fishery. Are you willing to help by participating in this survey?

[If not sure (3)] Are you the owner a commercial fishing vessel that during 2014 or 2019:

  1. operated with a federal West Coast Coastal Pelagic Species (CPS) limited entry permit,



  1. participated in a West Coast live-bait fishery, or



  1. had landings of CPS fish on the West Coast (California, Oregon, and Washington), which accounted for the majority of its landings revenue, but did not operate with a limited entry permit for either West Coast groundfish or highly migratory species.
