of records related to funds transfers and transmittals of funds</w:t></w:r><w:r><w:t>,</w:t></w:r><w:r w:rsidRPr="009A68DE"><w:t xml:space="preserve"> by lowering the monetary thresholds triggering those requirements for transactions that begin or end outside the United States from $3,000 </w:t></w:r><w:r><w:t xml:space="preserve">to $250. </w:t></w:r><w:r w:rsidRPr="009A68DE"><w:t xml:space="preserve">The NPRM also proposes to clarify that those same regulations apply to </w:t></w:r><w:r><w:t xml:space="preserve">domestic and cross-border </w:t></w:r><w:r w:rsidRPr="009A68DE"><w:t>transactions involving convertible virtual currencies (�CVC�) and digital assets with legal tender status by clarifying the meaning of �money� as used in certain defined terms referenced in those regulations.</w:t></w:r><w:r w:rsidR="00F52B5D"><w:t xml:space="preserve"> This statement adds the estimated burden hours increase for this OMB control number, as a result of
