Why am I getting this letter?
Enclosed is your July Cattle Survey. Please complete the
questionnaire at your earliest convenience. Your information is
important as producers deal with production and marketing
challenges. We need your help to ensure cattle farmers are well
represented.
The July Cattle Survey furnishes critical information needed
to make reliable cattle and dairy estimates. These estimates
provide you, the producer, with current information for
making informed marketing decisions during the coming
months. Farm organizations and agri-business firms will also
use these statistics to provide better services to you.

Complete your survey in one of the following
ways:
Online at www.agcounts.usda.gov
beginning on Friday, June 21, 2019.
Online reporting is fast, costeffective, and secure. All you need is
the 17-digit survey code on the
enclosed form to begin.
By mail or fax. Complete the
survey questionnaire and mail it
back in the return envelope
provided or fax it to 855- 271-9801.

If we do not hear from you by Friday, June 28, 2019, we may attempt to contact you to arrange a personal interview.
The results of this survey will be kept confidential and will be available in aggregate form only, ensuring that no
individual operation or producer can be identified, as required by federal law. We will publish the survey findings in
the annual July Cattle report, to be released Friday, July 19, 2019.
