I reviewed the materials submitted for the following: The Childcare Survey of Activity and
Wellness (C-SAW) Pilot Study, Project Number 6201.06. The Westat IRB reviews all studies
involving research on human subjects. This project was last reviewed in February 2020.
This request was to approve a revised COVID module to be inserted into the previously
approved pilot study questionnaire.
The regulations (45 CFR 46) permit expedited review of minor changes in previously approved
activities. I am therefore approving the modifications under expedited authority.
