Recently, I wrote to you asking for your participation in a study that 2M Research (2M) is conducting in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This study examines practices in urban and suburban communities regarding local regulations and their impact on the placement of factory-built homes. 2M is conducting interviews over the telephone with local land use officials whose communities have had varied experiences with factory-built housing. We feel your experiences and knowledge would be valuable for our current study and are again reaching requesting your participation. We expect these interviews to last approximately 45 minutes and will be scheduled for a day and time that is convenient for you.
You were chosen to be asked questions about your community’s practices regarding manufactured homes; however, if you believe someone else in the town or city government is in a better position to provide this information, please pass this email on to them.
I assure you that your participation and answers will be protected and that neither you nor your community will be identified in any published results.
