Attachment F - Respondent recruitment script.

Hello,
I am a researcher at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, we are hosting this roadshow. We
are asking attendees of this roadshow to complete a questionnaire before, and after, the hands-on
demonstrations as part of our research (VT IRB# 20-358). Each questionnaire will take
approximately 10 minutes. We will not collect any identifying information as part of this
research. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
Would you be willing to fill out a questionnaire before, and after, the hands-on demonstration so
we can gather some information from members of the trucking industry?
If yes, hand participant a cell phone and show them how to open the questionnaires.
If no, thank attendee for their time.
