In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. chapter 3501 et seq.), Federal Student Aid is submitting a simple change request to the existing information collection
1845-0001 for the updates outlined in the attached memo. We have assessed the upcoming changes for the 2021-2022 FAFSA filing year and believe based on previously executed change
requests to the ICR that these changes fall under that guise. None of the updates require additional information from the filer and are being implemented to assist the filer with providing accurate
information to reduce the need for corrections and those attendant delays in eligibility determinations.
