PAPERWORK REDUCTION ACT STATEMENT

The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et. seq.) requires us to inform you that the public burden for the collection of this information is estimated to average 30 minutes per response.  A Federal agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB Control Number. Comments on this collection should be sent to the Clearance Office at: [email protected]. OMB Control Number: 1028-NEW; Expiration Date: XX/XX/XX

Information will be analyzed by the USGS Astrogeology Science Center to identify community needs. The web-based questionnaire contains a total of 33 questions and is designed to take30 minutes to complete. The questionnaire is divided into four sections: (1) “Respondent Details,” (2) “Field Analog Use,” (3) “Data Portal Use,” and (4) “Geologic Materials Collection Use.” Each question was carefully selected to address the details of terrestrial analog activities and to enable cross-correlation.
