1 The Pilot Study will be conducted in 2016. Because the pilot study will be an independent study, additional demographic questions will need to be asked prior to entering into the Pilot SPPA. The Pilot SPPA will use the NORC AmeriSpeak Panel, which is a pre-established survey panel where respondents have already answered demographic questions related to age, gender, race, ethnicity, education, number of children in the home, and ages of children in the home, among other demographic questions prior to being recruited into the SPPA Pilot Stuy. These questions are similar if not identical to questions that appear in the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey (CPS). The full administration of the SPPA will be a supplement to the 2017 CPS.

2 For Core 1, items ending A or B are reserved for Respondent; items ending C or D are reserved for Spouse/Partner. This is the only module in the survey that includes spouse/partner questions.
