This is a non-substantive change request being made in the interest of greater transparency and clarity with regard to use and accuracy of data already under OMB Control Number 2503-0033. The enhancement to the existing Reporting Feedback System (RFS) Investor Reporting will allow for existing data collection to expand with the addition of 13 newly identified data elements and related updates to the above Appendices. This will fill and update critical operational and disclosure data gaps needed to increase accuracy and efficiency of Ginnie Mae’s monthly investor reporting, as well as provide clarity to participating Issuers.

There will be no change in existing system infrastructure, applications, or staff. This request will not result in a change to the burden hours.

This change request is being submitted to clarify that this information collection includes data collected from Ginnie Mae approved program participants (Issuers) when they register for access to Ginnie Mae RFS reporting and information systems. Program participants who may request access to the Ginnie Mae RFS information systems goes through the secured MyGinnieMae website and users include Ginnie Mae-approved Issuers, Subservicers, Software Service Providers, Service Bureaus, Ginnie Mae employee users and contracted vendors that have approved access.
