AUTHORITY: This report is required by law (7 U.S. C. 608(d), 7 CFR 993.49 and 7 CFR 993.l49(d)(3)).


FAILURE TO REPORT can result in a fine of not less than $50 or more than $5,000 for each such violation and each day during which such violation continues shall be deemed a separate violation. This information is used to check marketing policy estimates and compliance and to compile statistical summaries supplied to all handlers.

Marketing Agreement No. 110, as amended and Marketing Order No. 993, as amended, provide as follows: “§993.73 Other Reports. Upon the request of the Committee, each handler shall furnish such other reports and information as are needed to enable the Committee to perform its functions under this subpart.” Each handler is required by §993.149(d)(3) of the Administrative Rules and Regulations established pursuant to said Marketing Agreement and Order to file with the Committee within ten days of the Committee’s request a signed “Report of High Moisture Content Prunes.”
