Abstract: P.L. 114-216 amended the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946 directing the Secretary of Agriculture to establish the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard for disclosing any bioengineered food and any food that may be bioengineered.

The previous information collection calculations assumed a one time start-up cost for regulated entities that reflected the cost to reformulate any products or develop labels for products containing bioengineered ingredients.
