Reinterview is used to verify that an interview occurred. After the case has been completed (whether occupied or vacant), an interviewer will call the respondent and ask this short series of questions to verify that an interview was conducted. Additionally, some cases may be flagged to receive additional probing to determine if falsification may have occurred.
