Boren Scholarship and Fellowship Survey

You are being invited to participate in a research study conducted by the RAND Corporation. Your participation is voluntary. The study team is available to answer any questions you have related to participating. 

The research study is being conducted to learn more about how the Boren Awards Program affects recipients’ careers to gauge program effectiveness and identify ways to improve the program.  

If you agree to join the study, you will be asked to participate in a survey about your experience and impressions of the Boren awards program and your career path. The survey will take approximately 30 minutes.

We do not anticipate any individual risks or benefits with participating in this study. We do anticipate that there will be benefits in regard to the Boren Awards Program, thanks to your participation in this study. At the end of the study, we will be designing policy recommendations that may improve future Boren award recipients’ experiences, particularly if we identify qualities of the program that you and other participants identify as in need of improvement.

Eligibility

To participate in this study, you must be an alumnus of the Boren Awards program.

Privacy and Confidentiality

No identifiable information will be requested in this study. Your individual answers will not be shared with the Boren Program except in aggregate.
