Response to Public Comments – June, 2022
Comment: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) received one comment in response to the public comment request for the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Compliance Survey posted to the Federal Register on April 13, 2022. The comment advocated for the use of an “electronic document” to better monitor compliance and improve communication and collaboration between state Medicaid agencies.
CMS Response: CMS supports the use of electronic documents whenever possible and affirms that the EVV Compliance Survey is available to states as a web-based, electronic, and live tool that state Medicaid agencies can update at any time.
Action(s) Taken: CMS will continue to ensure states have access to the EVV Compliance Survey as a web-based, electronic tool throughout the EVV implementation period.
