Embassy Contacts Please see the attached approved message soliciting nominations for the Service Academy Foreign
Student Program Class of 2022. Countries with an "N" next to them are eligible to nominate to the United
States Naval Academy. We are disseminating this message and our nomination forms (attached) as an
invitation to nomination up to six students to the United States Naval Academy.
Per USC Title 10, the United States Naval Academy is allowed to have 60 international students in the
Brigade of Midshipmen at any given time. We are also only allowed to have three international students
from any given country (or a fourth with a waiver by the Secretary of Defense for Personnel and
Readiness).

Nominations for the USNA Class of 2021 are due to us by January 31, 2018.
Once a nomination is received, we can then open the application for the student and send instructions on
how to complete the required application documents. It is beneficial to the student to submit nominations
as soon as possible.
Applications must be completed by 31 March 2018. The International Admissions Board will convene in
early April.
