PART IIA: PROJECT ACTIVITY: PROMOTING AND DISSEMINATING RESEARCH RESULTS, PRODUCTS, AND
DATA
Through Research Awards, we intend to achieve the following objective: Produce research, statistics, and general information
about the arts for the benefit of the arts sector and beyond. For more detail regarding why we are interested in publications,
products, and other dissemination activities, see https://www.arts.gov/grants/manage-your-award/awards-after-oct1-2017to-organizations.
We do not currently have any requirements regarding the style of citation. Common citation formats include but are not
limited to Chicago Manual of Style (Chicago style), American Psychological Association (APA), American Medical Association
(AMA), and Modern Language Association (MLA).
On occasion you may be contacted for updates to publications, news clippings, video or audio recordings, websites or
webpages, data, tools, services, or other evidence of your accomplishments, including evidence of your acknowledgement of
NEA support.
1.

Provide information for up to five research promotion and dissemination activities supported by or resulting from this
award (NEA and cost-share funding) during the period of performance. Examples of such activities may include, but are not
limited to, research reports, articles, books or book chapters, tools, datasets, programs or services, convenings,
presentations at convenings or other events, websites or webpages, or media coverage (interviews, news articles, etc.).
You may also include working drafts or products that began under the award but that will be published after the period of
performance has ended. Describe the intended or actual audiences for each of the activities. Specifically, for journal
publications, describe whether the products are published with peer review. Peer review refers to the formal process of
review by peers, employed by many research journals.

The question below is for research purposes only; your response will not be used in panel deliberations or in making funding
decisions related to grant awards you may apply for in the future.
2.

Please explain whether the resulting project activities led (or will lead) to additional research grants from other funders.
Similarly, do you expect to use the research and/or results from this award to apply for additional grants from funders
other than the NEA? To which funders did you (or will you, if known) submit these proposals, and to which specific
funding opportunities (if known)?
