Choices for Prevention
Hello ___________,
We would like to invite one or more of your health care providers to participate in an online survey for a research study funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Any clinician who has prescribed PrEP in the past 12 months will be eligible for the study. Would you please forward this invitation to others in your organization who you believe would be eligible and interested in participation?
The purpose of this study is to understand health care providers’ preferences for several new longer-acting PrEP methods. PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, is an HIV medication that people without HIV can take to prevent getting HIV from sex or injection drug use. The study also aims to understand how other factors related to PrEP care might influence the decision to prescribe long-acting PrEP.
To learn more about participation, please click the link below.

After learning more about the study, providers will be asked to complete a 5-minute online screening form. If the screening form suggests that they are eligible, they may be invited to participate in the online survey. The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete.
Each provider that is invited to the survey and completes it will receive a $20 gift card as compensation for their time.
Thank you and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
