The Department of Education (the Department) amends the Student Assistance General Provisions regulations issued under the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA), to implement changes made to the Student Assistance General Provisions regulations – Subpart D – Institutional and Financial Assistance Information for §668.41 - Reporting and disclosure of information. These final regulations are a result of negotiated rulemaking and would delete requirements to the current regulations in §668.41(h).
There is no change to the Private Institution current respondents, responses, burden hours based on this regulatory package.
