Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 10 minutes per response, including
the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering, and maintaining the data needed, and
completing and reviewing the collection of information. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not
required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. Send

for reducing this burden to NIH, Project Clearance Branch, 6705 Rockledge Drive, MSC 7974, Bethesda, MD

Cancer has substantial economic consequences to patients and their families, health care
systems, employers, and society overall. Multiple government agencies and non-profit
organizations in the U.S. are involved in studying and addressing these economic
consequences. Activities by these stakeholders include conducting and funding cancer health
economics research; collecting data on the costs and financial impacts of cancer; developing,
evaluating, and advocating for policies to address cancer-related costs and financial hardship;
and communicating information on the economic burden of cancer.
NCI is considering holding a one-day meeting with representatives of other federal agencies
and non-profit organizations interested in cancer health economics research. The goal of this
meeting is to identify areas for potential collaboration (across the entire cancer control
continuum, from prevention through survivorship) and develop plans to implement the
collaborative activities identified. The meeting will be held in the fall of 2022 and would be hybrid
(i.e., participants could participate in person or virtually).
The goal of this survey is to assess interest in participating in this one-day meeting and identify
topics of greatest interest for the meeting. Please feel free to share this survey with others in
your organization and provide responses that summarize interest among the relevant
individuals. Please do not share this survey with individuals outside of your organization; we are
interested in information from your organization specifically.
