Toxcel is currently undertaking the FMCSA-sponsored research project titled “Effectiveness of Third-Party Testing and Minimum Standards for the CDL Knowledge and Skills Tests.” As mentioned in a previous email, we are conducting an initial survey of the jurisdictions to determine which version of the 2005 AAMVA CDL Test Model, or its equivalent, is being utilized as required by 49 CFR 383.131-133.

We estimate the survey will take no more than 45 minutes of your time to complete. This includes no more than 30 minutes needed for any background research and information gathering and up to 15 minutes to populate the web-based survey. The survey results will be critical for helping guide follow-on data collection and analysis, and we would very much appreciate your taking the time to complete the survey.
