TERMS OF CLEARANCE:

Terms of the previous clearance remain in effect. Terms of the previous clearance remain in
effect. Although the generic Information Collection
Requests (ICRs) allows for the nonsubstantive change request to be used for changes to
existing approved information collection tools, it is not always the most appropriate mechanism
if changes are substantial or sensitive in nature. Prior to future submissions, ACF should
discuss with OIRA in advance of submitting nonsubstantive change requests to decide if it is
an appropriate mechanism or if a revision of the ICR with a 60 and 30 day comment period is
more appropriate.
