Purpose	This dataset allows public health professionals and researchers to evaluate screening practices and monitor progress towards eliminating lead poisoning among children. Also, this dataset will be used to develop indicators (with appropriate procedures to protect confidentiality) for the national public portal. This dataset can be linked to US Census data and other data sources to identify geographic areas where children are at risk for lead poisoning. This dataset is used to create the following indicators: Blood Lead Levels by Birth Cohort Annual Blood Lead Levels State Blood Lead Testing Practices
Restrictions	This is a restricted access dataset without appropriate confidentiality measures applied.

CDC estimates the average public reporting burden for this collection of information as 40 hours per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data/information sources, gathering and maintaining the data/information needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information.
