An individual must submit Form G-325A as part of a written request that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) exercise prosecutorial discretion and grant deferred action.
USCIS considers deferring action on a case-by-case basis. Deferred action is a discretionary determination to defer removal of an individual as an act of prosecutorial discretion.
Individuals who receive deferred action will not be placed into removal proceedings or removed from the United States for a specified period, unless the U.S. Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) chooses to terminate deferred action.
USCIS will use the information you provide on this form to process your request for deferred action.
