On June 6, 2023, the Westat HRPP Project Update Committee conducted its continuing review of the
following: IFPS III, Project # 6717. Pursuant to 45 CFR pt. 46.109(e), continuing review of research
studies occurs at intervals appropriate to the degree of risk but not less frequently than once a year.
The above referenced continuing review was approved by the HRPP Office. The next continuing review
submission is due before June 1, 2024. This due date allows for sufficient time for review and to avoid a
lapse in approval.
Your study must maintain an approved status as long as you are interacting or intervening with living
individuals or handling of their identifiable private information or identifiable specimens. In the interim, you
are responsible for notifying the HRPP Office as soon as possible if there are any injuries to subjects,
problems with the study, or changes to study design that relate to human subjects.
