Purpose and Applicability Debris removal includes activities that eliminate immediate threats to lives, public health, and safety; eliminate immediate threats of significant damage to improved public or private property; and ensure economic recovery of the affected community to the benefit of the community at large by clearance, removal, and disposal when in the public interest. FEMA uses this form to collect information necessary to support the Applicant’s claim.
