Instrument 2: Monthly Progress Reports


In progress reports, the recipient will be expected to report on the following measures:


  • The number of new crisis centers joining the network, including through telephone and chat services.

  • The number of individuals reaching out through the White House or other Federal Partners.

  • Ensure data is collected on all contacts and reported to SAMHSA on individuals, to include, but not limited to, the percentage of individuals who are suicidal at time of contact, those identified at imminent risk, the number of individuals requiring voluntary and involuntary emergency interventions, the amount of individuals in which have a suicide attempt in progress, individuals that died by suicide after contacting the 988 Lifeline, individuals who report homicidal ideation and details on which location the ideation concerned, and how often emergency dispatch was unable to locate individuals.

  • FTEs allocated to language access subnetworks, backup centers, text/chat centers and any other dedicated staffing to address the needs of high-risk populations
