There is only one Collection of Information proposed for extension by the Western Area
Power Administration (WAPA), specifically, the Applicant Profile Data (APD). Due to
Consumer Price Index inflation (CPI-core), WAPA is escalating the respondent cost per
burden hour from its previous PRA process completed in 2020. While the form updates
improve functionality and ease for someone completing the application, the time it takes
to fill out the form is unchanged which means the annual burden hour per
respondent/response remains 7.5 hours. Based on the number of respondents completing
the APD estimated at 100 over a 3-year period with 30 successful applicants in the 3-year
period, the annual hour and cost burdens are listed below.
