The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and your local government are working together to increase safety, reduce congestion, and improve the accessibility of transportation in your area. To help us understand the transportation needs of your community and the nation, the DOT is asking your household to participate in the National Household Travel Survey. In the past 50 years, the results of this survey have been used to help make decisions about how and where to spend transportation dollars. The DOT will continue to work together with State and local governments to use this survey data to improve roads, public transit, sidewalks, and bicycle routes in communities across the country. To get started, complete a brief five-minute survey. Then you and your household will be asked to record your travel for a randomly assigned day. Each household member will earn up to $20 for participating in the survey. Enclosed you will find a small token of appreciation. 1 Go to NHTS2024.com or scan the code on the right with your smartphone camera 2 Enter your PIN: 3 Complete a brief five-minute survey to get started INSERT QR CODE HERE Scan to start!
