Need Adult Volunteers to help improve plans for Worker Survey– Receive $50
Family and friends of Westat employees are welcome to participate. Westat employees are not eligible to participate.
Study Recruitment
We are seeking adults, ages 18 and older, to help improve our recruitment to a survey of workers about pay and hours worked.
Eligible participants will be asked about their jobs and other people they know who work in jobs like theirs. They will also be asked to review our materials and tell us what they think.
Individuals are eligible for this study if:
They can or do receive overtime pay at their job for working more than 40 hours per week and
They work in one of these places or do one of these jobs:
Restaurant, bar, or fast food
Grocery store or supermarket
Department or discount store
Amusement such as an amusement park, arcade, or casino
Building services such as janitors or cleaners
Nursing home
Hotel or motel
Home health care
Landscaping
Security guard
Center or home child day care
Residential construction
Interviews will last 60 minutes, either in-person or by video conference call (e.g., Zoom). At the end of the session, participants will receive a $50 electronic Amazon gift card.
