Workers Needed for Testing a National Survey—Receive $50

Family and friends of Westat employees are eligible to participate. Westat employees are not eligible to participate.

We are seeking individuals ages 18 and older to test question wording for a survey of workers about pay and hours worked.

Individuals may be eligible for this study if they meet any of the following criteria:

• Are paid hourly or by the job or piece

• Earn less than $35,000 per year before taxes

• Are eligible for overtime pay if they work more than 40 hours per week

We are especially interested in talking to those who work in the following industries:

• Food service

• Construction

• Grocery stores or supermarkets

• Retail stores

• Hotels or motels

• Cleaning and building maintenance

• Nursing homes

• Home health care

• Landscaping

• Security services (including security guards)

• Child day care services

Qualified individuals will be asked to complete select survey questions and asked questions to help us revise the survey. The interview will be conducted virtually via Zoom and take up to 90 minutes. If an individual qualifies and takes part in the interview, they will receive a $50 electronic Amazon gift card.
