The United States Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service is conducting
the 202x National Agricultural Classification Survey to identify all agricultural operations in the United
States. The information will help ensure that all producers are included in the 2027 Census of
Agriculture. If you have already responded, thank you. If not, please complete the survey, either online
or by mail, and return it promptly.
Please report any agricultural activity within the past 12 months. If you are a landlord, do not report
agricultural activity for your tenant(s). If you were a landlord but still operated other land yourself or
raised livestock, you should complete the questionnaire. If you have no land, no livestock, and no
agricultural activity, please complete the first page, and follow the provided instructions.
