A. Overview of Information Collection
Title of Information Collection:
Evaluation of Emergency Housing
Voucher (EHV) Program.
MB Approval Number: 2528–New.
Type of Request: New collection.
Form Number: N/A.
Description of the need for the
information and proposed use:
The purpose of this proposed
information collection is to gather
information in support of the Evaluation
of the Emergency Housing Voucher
Program. The Emergency Housing
Voucher (EHV) Program is one of eight
housing provisions that was included in
the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021

supported roughly 70,000 incremental
emergency vouchers to be allocated to
Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) via
formula.
The Evaluation of the EHV program
will document the implementation and
early outcomes of the EHV Program
through a mixed mode data collection
approach to provide a broad overview of
the program nationally.
