The Final Rule in Docket No. RM22-7-000 amends the Commission’s regulations in parts 50 and 380 to ensure consistency with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021. Some of the amended regulations include filing requirements for entities seeking to construct electric transmission facilities pursuant to the Commission’s authority under section 216 of the Federal Power Act (FPA), which authorizes the Commission, under certain circumstances, to issue permits for the construction of electric transmission facilities within national interest electric transmission corridors designated by the Secretary of Energy. In this ICR, we are revising the information collection due to arguments raised on rehearing in Docket No. RM22-7-001.
