I. Introduction


Why is EPA Requesting a Non-Substantive Change?

EPA is requesting a non-substantive change to update the reporting forms in accordance with the Terms of Clearance for the rule-related ICR titled “Reconsideration of the Dust-Lead Hazard Standards and Dust-Lead Post-Abatement Clearance Levels; Final Rule (RIN 2070-AK91)” (EPA ICR No. 2760.02; OMB Control No. 2070-0227) approved on January 17, 2025.


EPA is not otherwise modifying the information collection requirements or agency paperwork burden estimates.

  • EPA Forma 8500-27 Application and Instructions for Firms Applying for Certification to Conduct Lead-Based Paint Activities and/or Renovations
