Attachment 2. Previous use and Development
NISVS1 is a periodic survey that collects national and sub-national information on intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and stalking victimization. Questions on intimate violence, sexual violence, and stalking were previously evaluated by CCQDER2; however, NISVS plans to incorporate into the survey new questions on traumatic brain injuries that resulted from intimate partner violence. Questions on traumatic brain injury resulting from intimate partner violence have been used in clinical settings but have not been evaluated in the context of the NISVS survey.
