Privacy Notice

Authority: This information collection is pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1365b.
Purpose: The survey will enable OBIM to evaluate and analyze the quality of images from different
biometric collection devices, assess their impact on match accuracy, and understand the performance of
new sensors and data, all of which are essential for improving biometric systems, standards, and policies
at OBIM. This information is not linked to any other personal information collected during this effort.
Routine Uses: The information will be used by authorized OBIM personnel and may be disclosed
externally as a “routine use” pursuant to DHS/ALL/PIA-069 DHS Surveys, Interviews, and Focus
Groups.
