CDC ENGAGE Functionality Project
Interview Invitation for State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial (STLT) Public Health Authorities (PHAs) and Related Partners
Hello all,
The Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance, and Technology (OPHDST) is collecting input on the new ‘CDC ENGAGE’ system we are building with support from DMAC (the Data Modernization Accelerator for CDC contract).
CDC ENGAGE is meant to be an enterprise-wide, centralized hub for state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT) customers to get support and CDC to provide support; it will contain a help desk, knowledge repository, collaboration spaces, and customer relationship management (CRM) technology. While we do not expect CDC ENGAGE to eliminate the need for systems that are customized for specialized processes like post-award grants management or internal program management processes, we do expect it to unify such systems in a way that translates to a more cohesive customer experience for STLT public health agencies.
We would like to meet with you to gather your thoughts and opinions on what features and functionality would make this new system more useful and effective for you. The conversation will be kept confidential to the extent possible, and any notes captured will be anonymized. The interview should take approximately one hour. Please reply to this email to inform us if you are interested in participating. Thank you!
Warm Regards,
Greetings [recipient’s first name],
Thank you for expressing your willingness to be interviewed in connection with the CDC ENGAGE project. CDC ENGAGE will be a place where state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT) public health agencies (PHAs) and CDC staff working on data, surveillance, and technology (DST) can easily connect and collaborate. By sharing your knowledge and experience you will be helping to achieve this vision.
We’d love to get a sense of your availability over the next month so we can coordinate efforts and ensure adequate time to get your valuable input. Will you please let us know a few preferred days and times you would be available for a one-hour virtual interview?
If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to let us know. Thank you again for helping us to make CDC ENGAGE a success. We are excited to speak with you!
Warm Regards,
